Five bikes, and they are not remotely alike
Most winner's-choice giveaways offer variations on a theme. Rider Justice's 2026 menu is five genuinely different machines: a Harley-Davidson Nightster, a Triumph TF 250-X, a Triumph Trident, a Yamaha MT-07, and a Polaris Sportsman 570. One of those is a closed-course motocrosser you cannot register for the road. One is not a motorcycle at all. What is in your garage already should drive the pick more than the sticker price does.
The Nightster is the most expensive option and the headliner, so it is the one this listing is built around. It is the machine that finally retired the air-cooled Sportster: a 975cc liquid-cooled Revolution Max 975T V-twin making a claimed 91 hp at 7,500 rpm and 72 lb-ft at 5,750, six speeds, belt final drive, 481 lb wet, and a 27.1-inch seat that makes it one of the easier Harley twins to flat-foot. Ride-by-wire, ABS, traction control and Harley's drag-torque slip control system are all standard.
Why the Nightster earns the headline
Harley dropped the base Nightster to $9,999 for 2026, and at that money it is one of the cheapest routes into a modern liquid-cooled Milwaukee engine. The Revolution Max is the real argument for it — it revs, it does not shake itself apart at highway speed, and it behaves nothing like the pushrod motor it replaced.
Be honest about the rest of the package, though. The thing that looks like a fuel tank is an airbox cover; the actual fuel lives under the seat, and range is the single most common complaint in owner reviews. The suspension is basic by modern standards — conventional Showa forks up front and preload-only emulsion shocks out back — and it is a bike that traditionalists still argue is not really a Harley. Against the other four options, the Trident and MT-07 are the more practical all-rounders, the TF 250-X is a race-only proposition, and the Sportsman 570 is a work tool.
The fine print worth knowing
You collect it in person, in Colorado. The rules state the winner "will be required to collect the Prize motorcycle from the Big Iron Sports Group dealership of their choice and provide a valid driver's license (with motorcycle endorsement) and proof of insurance (if driving motorcycle off premises) at time of collection within 10 days of signing the affidavit of eligibility/release." The named partner dealerships — Mile High Harley-Davidson Aurora, Parker Harley-Davidson, Foothills Motorcycles and Grand Prix Motorsports — are all in metro Denver, while entry is open across Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. If you win from Tucson or Cheyenne, getting the bike home is on you, inside a ten-day window.
The $12,000 is a cap, not a promise. The rules read: "Choice of one (1) of the following prize options: 2026 Harley-Davidson Nightster, 2026 Triumph TF 250-X, 2026 Triumph Trident, 2026 Yamaha MT-07, 2026 Polaris Sportsman 570. Maximum total value is $12,000.00." Sticker prices across those five run from $7,999 (Sportsman 570) to $9,999 (Nightster), so the option you choose moves the real value of the prize by roughly $2,000 before fees.
No swaps, no cash. "Winner shall not have the option to make any prize substitutions." There is no published cash alternative — you take a bike, or you take nothing.
The tax bill is yours. "All Federal and/or State income tax for the amount of this prize is the responsibility of the winner." On a prize valued up to $12,000, budget for a four-figure bill in the year you win.
Eligibility is narrower than the ad reads. Five states only, 21 or older at time of entry, and you must already hold a current driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement — including if you pick the Sportsman 570, which needs no endorsement to ride.
Entry is actually free. There is no paid tier and no purchase path at all: one online form, one entry per person per day between May 23 and the September 25 deadline, and odds that depend on how many entries come in. Rider Justice is the motorcycle-injury practice of Denver's O'Sullivan Law Firm, and it has run rider giveaways under its own name since at least 2021.

Why It's Special
The Nightster is the bike that ended the air-cooled Sportster line — a Revolution Max-powered roadster in a stripped-down cruiser wrapper, with ride-by-wire, ABS, traction control and Harley's drag-torque slip control as standard equipment. For 2026 Harley moved the base Nightster to a $9,999 starting MSRP, which makes it one of the cheapest ways into a liquid-cooled Milwaukee twin. The wider point of interest here is the menu itself: a cruiser, a closed-course motocrosser, a naked triple, a naked twin and a utility ATV in a single drawing is an unusually broad spread for a winner's-choice prize.
Our value estimate
$12,000
Rider Justice puts a hard number on this one in its own rules: "Maximum total value is $12,000.00." That is the anchor, and it is worth reading precisely — it is a ceiling on the whole prize, not a published ARV for any single bike. Current new-for-2026 window stickers across the five options run: Harley-Davidson Nightster $9,999 (Harley cut the base price for 2026), Triumph TF 250-X around $9,495, Triumph Trident 660 $8,745 after a price cut from its $9,145 launch figure, Yamaha MT-07 $8,599, and Polaris Sportsman 570 from $7,999. Every one of those sits under the $12,000 line, which is consistent with the cap covering an out-the-door number — freight, dealer setup, doc fees, tax and title stacked on MSRP — rather than a sticker price. In practice: choose the Nightster and you are riding away near the ceiling; choose the Sportsman 570 and the real-world figure is closer to $8,000 of window sticker plus fees. Because these are brand-new, zero-mile 2026 units handed over by franchised dealers rather than used machines, current MSRP and dealer advertised pricing are the right yardstick here — there is no depreciation curve to net out, and no auction comps that would apply.
