Win a One-Off Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS "H. Upmann Sunrise Edition"
Triumph's Öhlins-and-Brembo Speed Twin 1200 RS, reworked into a one-off H. Upmann "Sunrise" custom with a cigar-box saddlebag and a $30,000 stated value — with the catch, buried in the rules, that you have to be standing inside a participating cigar shop to enter at all.

What you're looking at
The donor is the good one. Triumph's Speed Twin 1200 RS is the sharp end of the Modern Classics range: a 1,200cc liquid-cooled 270° parallel twin making a claimed 103.5 hp at 7,750 rpm and 82 lb-ft at 4,250 rpm, six speeds, chain drive, and — the part that separates the RS from the standard bike — 43mm Marzocchi upside-down forks, Öhlins piggyback rear shocks, Brembo Stylema monobloc front calipers, and lean-sensitive cornering ABS and traction control. It looks like 1959 and stops like 2026.
On top of that sits the H. Upmann work. Trade coverage from the 2026 Premium Cigar Association show credits Torque Custom Cycles of Hackensack, New Jersey with the build: a custom paint scheme, a set of modified engine and body parts, and a bespoke saddlebag sized to carry a box of H. Upmann Sunrise cigars. That last detail is the whole idea — it is a cigar-brand motorcycle first and a Speed Twin second.
What Altadis itself publishes is thinner than that. The entry page names the prize only as "A Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS H. Upmann Sunrise Edition." No build sheet, no paint code, no model year, and no odometer reading appears on the page or anywhere in the official rules.
Why it matters
A new Speed Twin 1200 RS stickers between $16,995 and $17,195. The sponsor values this one at $30,000, which is a fair reflection of what a hand-built one-off costs to commission and a reminder that custom money rarely comes back out at resale. Buy the RS yourself and you get the same engine, the same Öhlins, the same Brembos, in whatever colour you like. What you cannot buy is this one — a single bike built for a promotion, with a cigar humidor bolted to the tail.
It is also a rare shape for a giveaway prize. Most sweepstakes bikes are cruisers or litre-class sportbikes; a modern-classic roadster with premium suspension is the sort of thing enthusiasts actually put deposits on, and the RS spec means it is genuinely rideable rather than a static display piece.
The fine print worth knowing
Altadis contradicts itself on this. The rules are explicit: entry is open "only to customers of Participating Retailers," and "Must be present at a Participating Retailer's Summer of H. Upmann Sunrise Event ("Event") during the Sweepstakes Period to enter." That is what the rules say. It is not what the sponsor's own website does. altadisusa.com/sweepstakes/ serves an open entry form headed "Complete Your Entry", under the line "NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to legal US residents, 21+" — nothing on it asks you to be in a shop, and nothing gates it behind a retailer. Yet the rules describe even the free route as a paper form "obtained from a Participating Retailer at an Event". The page invites an entry the rules appear to exclude. Enter online, because it costs nothing and takes a minute; but if one of their events is near you, enter there as well, since that is the route the rules actually describe.
Five states and two territories are out. The rules limit entry to residents of "the forty eight (48) continental U.S. states and Washington, DC (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Michigan, Virginia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands)" who are 21 or older. Massachusetts, Michigan and Virginia are the ones to note, because they are continental states a reader would assume are covered.
Entry math. Buying a box of H. Upmann by AJ Fernandez Original, Heritage or Sunrise at an event earns one entry per box. The free form earns one entry per form. Either way, "Maximum of ten (10) entries per customer, regardless of entry method" — and the rules add that if more than ten entries are submitted for one person, all of that person's entries are disqualified. Odds are not published; the rules say they depend on total eligible entries across all participating retailers. Entry runs from 10:00 AM Eastern on June 1, 2026 to 6:00 PM on September 30, 2026, with one drawing on or about October 1, 2026.
No cash, no swaps, no warranty. "No Prize substitution allowed and Prize is not redeemable for cash. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-assignable," and the bike is awarded "AS IS" and "WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND." If the bike is not what you want, there is no $30,000 cheque behind door two.
What it costs to take delivery. The winner is responsible for all taxes and fees, plus licensing, registration, insurance and preparation costs, and must produce proof of valid insurance and a valid driver's licence before collecting the bike. A $30,000 prize reported on a 1099 is worth roughly $7,000 or more in federal tax alone at common brackets, before state tax. Altadis ships the bike to a location near the winner's home through a shipper it selects, with transport insurance carried by the shipper.
Winner conditions. Altadis makes two contact attempts over three business days; miss that window and the prize goes elsewhere. The winner signs a title transfer along with "an Affidavit of Eligibility, Acceptance, Publicity (where legally permitted) and Liability Release." Disputes are governed by Florida law and must be brought "INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION," with recovery limited to actual out-of-pocket costs. A winners list can be requested by stamped, self-addressed envelope from Altadis U.S.A. LLC, 5900 North Andrews Ave., Suite 600, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.

Why It's Special
This is not a Triumph factory special edition — it is a single commissioned custom built on a current Speed Twin 1200 RS for Altadis's H. Upmann Sunrise program, with cigar-brand paint and a purpose-built cigar-box saddlebag. One exists. The flip side of that is a narrow resale audience: the branding that makes it interesting to a cigar collector is the same branding a general used-bike buyer would price down.
Our value estimate
$30,000
Altadis states an Approximate Retail Value of $30,000 for the motorcycle in its official rules, and that is the anchor here — no cash or non-vehicle extra is bundled into the prize, so the whole figure is the bike. The donor sets the floor: a 2026 Speed Twin 1200 RS lists at $16,995–$17,195 new, and the most recent comparable retail examples found were a 2025 Speed Twin 1200 RS at $12,900, a 64-mile 2026 Speed Twin 1200 at $14,999, and a 141-mile 2025 Speed Twin 1200 at $12,491. Only one of those three is the RS trim, because RS examples barely a model year old are still thin on the used market — the standard-trim cars are included to bracket the range. That math puts roughly $13,000 of the stated ARV in the one-off work: custom paint, modified engine and body parts, and the cigar-box saddlebag. Two things would move the number and neither is published: the model year of the donor bike and its odometer reading appear nowhere on the entry page or in the rules. Worth knowing as well that a show-built, brand-badged one-off typically resells closer to the donor bike plus a fraction of the build than to its as-built value. The $30,000 stands as the working figure because it is the sponsor's own, and it is the number a 1099 will be written from.
