What you're looking at

Vyper's marketing just calls it "the RZR." The official rules are more specific: it's a 2025 Polaris RZR XP 1000 Sport, and Vyper's giveaway page lists it in Cadet Blue. Sport is the base trim of Polaris's current RZR XP line, and this one is offered stock, with no build sheet and no accessory bundle.

The ProStar 1000 is a 999cc DOHC parallel twin with electronic fuel injection, rated at 114 hp. It drives through Polaris's PVT belt transmission (high, low, reverse) and a True On-Demand AWD system you can switch to 2WD. Suspension is Walker Evans needle shocks with 16-position clickers, giving 16 inches of travel up front and 18 in the rear, on 29-inch Trail Master X/T tires. One Vyper page rounds the travel up to 20 inches. Polaris's spec and Vyper's own entry page both say 16 front and 18 rear.

Why it matters

The XP 1000 is the naturally aspirated side of the RZR family. It makes far less power than a turbocharged Pro XP, but there's no turbo system to maintain. That is a big part of its appeal as a trail machine, and as a starting point for owners who would rather pick their own upgrades than pay for a factory package.

The rules value it at $19,999, which is the 2025 Sport's MSRP. By late 2026, though, a 2025 is leftover stock sitting next to 2026 and 2027 models, and dealers are asking roughly $15,500 to $16,500 for new and lightly used 2025 Sports. We put it at about $16,500. Hours and miles aren't published, and the rules deliver the prize "AS IS."

The sponsor is Vyper Engineering, LLC, the Kaukauna, Wisconsin maker of shop stools, chairs and creepers. The rules name ViralSweep LLC as administrator and title this promotion "VS03." Vyper's giveaway page shows a previous winner, Ben Miller, with the cheque from its Porsche GT4 giveaway.

The fine print worth knowing

  • The model year and the cash option appear only in the rules. Neither of Vyper's giveaway pages mentions either one. The rules say: "The Winner will also have the option to accept a $10,000 USD cash award in lieu of the aforementioned Prize." That's 50% of the $19,999 ARV.
  • Taxes. The rules say "an IRS Form 1099 will be filed in the name of the Winner for the value of the Prize." Taking the RZR means $19,999 of reportable income. Taking the cash means $10,000.
  • The deadline in the rules is a day earlier than on the marketing pages. The rules end the promotion at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on October 17, 2026, while the store and the giveaway page both say October 18. Mail-in cards must also be postmarked by October 17. The rules set the drawing "on or about October 23, 2026"; the giveaway page says about November 1.
  • Entry math. Any purchase at vyperindustrial.com earns one entry per whole dollar, and Bonus Entry Periods raise that to 20 to 100 entries per dollar. The cheapest item in the giveaway collection is a $25 wall mount for a creeper. Digital-wallpaper entry packs run from $35 (35 entries) to $250 (250 entries).
  • The free route. A hand-printed 3x5 card mailed to the address in the rules is worth 25 entries, the same as spending $25. If it's postmarked during a bonus period it's worth 500 to 2,500 entries, which is the purchase multiplier applied to that same $25. Cards must be postmarked by October 17 and received by October 22, one card per envelope. Signing up for Vyper's email and SMS lists adds one entry.
  • Substitution. The sponsor "reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value." This is standard wording that covers the prize unit becoming unavailable.
  • Winner conditions. Open to US residents 18 and over, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. The winner has seven days from notice to return a signed affidavit of eligibility. Wisconsin law governs, and disputes must be brought individually, not as a class action.

Why It's Special

Not rare. This is a current-generation production sport side-by-side in its base Sport trim, and the 2025 model year has since been followed by 2026 and 2027 RZR XP models.

Our value estimate

$16,500

We started from the operator's stated value. The official rules put the prize at $19,999, which is Polaris's MSRP for the 2025 RZR XP 1000 Sport. Current-generation RZRs don't come up on Bring a Trailer, Mecum or Iconic Motorbike Auctions, so there are no auction sales to compare against. The closest evidence is dealer asking prices: a 2025 RZR XP 1000 Sport in Storm Gray (miles not listed) at $16,486 and a new leftover 2025 Sport in Reno, NV at $15,499. Because there weren't enough 2025 examples, we also looked at the 2024 model year and found a 24-mile 2024 Sport in Auburn, WA at $15,790. These are asking prices, not sale prices. The gap to the ARV comes from model year: a 2025 in late 2026 is leftover stock competing with 2026 and 2027 models. That puts it at about $16,500. Mileage and hours aren't published, and the rules deliver the prize "AS IS", so a unit with real hours on it would be worth less. The winner can instead take $10,000 in cash. Only the official rules mention that option.
